Our New Bargaining Portal is Launched!

The Bargaining Portal is our central page for information, updates, and ways to get involved with our 2026 Full Contract Bargaining as we prepare for a new bargaining cycle with the university administration.

Check it regularly if you want to stay up to date.

Where we are now

The Bargaining Team (BT) is currently preparing for bargaining by working closely with the Bargaining Research Team, who spent Summer and Fall 2025 gathering data, member input, and other research to inform our strategy.

This work is setting the groundwork for GEO’s proposals and bargaining strategy that the BT will bring to the table as negotiations begin.

Looking ahead

On January 29, GEO members will vote at a General Membership Meeting on our bargaining pillars — the key directions and priorities the Bargaining Team will push during negotiations.

Your vote is a powerful step toward ensuring that our bargaining demands reflect the needs and priorities of graduate employees across the university.
